Other day the film ‘Orey Bujjiga’ has released and film lovers have criticised it for its poor content and bad narrative. Of course, the failure of director Vijay Kumar Konda to come up with an engaging treat is clearly visible in the output. But then, some insiders say that the director never really focused on making the film well.
According to the grapevine, director Vijay Kumar Konda pocketed huge money for Oka Laila Kosam but the film’s failure has pushed him into confusion. He later tried to get a script from big and successful writers but none helped him. Perhaps the success of Gundejari Galalntayyinde is attributed to actor-writer Harshavardan a lot, and that’s a minus for Vijay Kumar Konda.
Since then, Vijay is said to have focused on getting good remuneration for himself first as he is not sure how long he would be able to make movies without good scripts in hand. For Orey Bujjiga, after nearly five years wait, he’s pocketed a little and focused on saving money for himself in many areas rather dumping all that ‘cleverness’ into the film’s plot and execution, says some sources.
If the director has to come out of these rumours, surely he needs to work hard and make his next film a big hit or at least somewhat watchable film. He has Nikhil Gowda’s movie and another film with Raj Tarun in the pipeline.
